THE ADDICTION OF CHRISTIANITY SERIES BEGINS
The Addiction of Chasing the Carrot
CHASING THE CARROT
The old adage of chasing the carrot on a stick is so appropriate for what we see displayed in front of us in the “christian” events of our day. It seems that we are not satisfied with our Christian lives and need more stimulation, so there are many who will step right in to give us everything we want.
THE CHASE FOR MORE
Because we are not satisfied with what we have, this craving fuels the endless need to chase for more. The addicted then run after the proverbial carrot dangled by those who see an angle - the strategists who see a niche that they can exploit for their own purposes. These are the suppliers - the pushers - the ones who traffic men’s souls.
We were in these movements. We knew many of these men, and we are now exposing them.
IS IT THE LEADERS WHO ARE AT FAULT, OR THOSE WHO ARE RAISING THEM UP?
In order for a person to get his fix, there must be a supply and a supplier. It’s the cart and the horse, or the chicken and the egg - but who came first? Is it the leaders who are deceiving, or the followers who are actually raising them up?
This first episode is to lay some groundwork for the endless chase that will cause frustration, pain and years of digging out, once your eyes open - if your eyes open?
